Description

Business Strategy & Economic Management aims to provide future managers with the knowledge and skills needed to anticipate the strategic behaviour of competitors and to make informed decisions throughout their careers. Study in this area provides students with the strategic thinking tools to understand the fundamental economic behaviour that underlies all business decisions.
Graduates find employment in many areas of business and government. Specific job tasks can vary enormously, providing the potential for a changing and exciting career. Employers include: finance companies, share brokers, banks, accounting firms, investment companies, economic consultancy and research firms, educational institutions, electricity and telecommunication companies, health authorities, trade unions or government departments.
