Program Description
Program Objectives and Graduate Attributes
- Demonstrate an understanding of environmental management and policy, and an ability to apply these in a range of contexts;
- Demonstrate an understanding of some of the disciplinary areas related to environmental decision-making, such as environmental law, economics, ecosystem management, physical sciences (physics and chemistry), social sciences and engineering;
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences, and be capable of independent and collaborative enquiry and working effectively with others within broad parameters;
- Have an awareness of international environmental issues.
Program Structure
This program is 24 UOC which is comprised of a core course, two fundamental knowledge courses, and an elective.

- Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline.
Credit Transfer
Articulation Rules
If you successfully complete the requirements for this program with a WAM of 70 you may articulate into the Master of Environmental Management with credit for all courses completed.
