The Graduate Diploma in Risk Management is a postgraduate program in integrated risk management. Courses for the program are offered by the Faculties of Science, Engineering, and Commerce. The program requires 48 units of credit and is normally completed in one year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) study. Students may be exempted from the fundamental knowledge courses where these topics have been studied during previous studies.
NOTE:This program is not open for new enrolments from 2011. Students interested in commencing a postgraduate program in Risk Management should refer to program 8418 in this handbook and contact the Australian School of Business for further information. Students who commenced this program previous to 2011 with concerns regarding completion of the degree due to variations in course offerings should contact John Evans (john.evans@unsw.edu.au) for the latest information on course availability and program requirements. Students may select courses (18 UOC) from any Faculty providing they can demonstrate to the program authority the relevance of the course to risk management.
