The Master of Economics program provides advanced training in theoretical and applied aspects of modern economics and econometrics. There is no mid-year intake for the Master of Economics program. Applicants can only apply to commence Master of Economics studies for Session 1. Entry to this program requires an academic background in economics. Program Objectives and Learning Outcomes A graduate of this program is prepared for a career as a professional economist with advanced technical skills or for further studies in economics or related fields in Australia and abroad.
The Master in Economics degree comprises 48 units of credit (UOC). Students are required to complete four core courses and four elective courses.
