This program is not available to commencing students. Details below are provided for the reference of continuing students only.
Prospective students should refer instead to the new program, Master of Engineering Science - 8538. Candidates are required to complete a program totalling at least 48 UOC made up of core courses and electives. Compulsory courses not offered in a particular year may be substituted by an equivalent course approved by the appropriate Head of School. The degree will normally comprise one year of full-time study (two sessions of 24 UOC) or two years of part-time study. Candidates may include additional courses selected from the following listed elective courses, or from other relevant courses offered within the University, as approved by the appropriate Head of School.
The Masters degree program in Spatial Information is offered in both the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science. Entry into either faculty depends on the background of the applicant and the orientation of the proposed program.
