Stream Outline
This specialisation provides students with advanced study options in large-scale Water Engineering. It is designed to develop skills in analysis and design across the disciplines of engineering hydrology, engineering hydraulics, groundwater, estuary and port engineering, coastal and marine engineering. It is ideally suited for both practising water engineers and recent graduates planning a career in large-scale water engineering.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students need a recognised four year Bachelor degree in engineering with a minimum 65% average*.
Other disciplines may be considered for entry as determined by the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

MEngSc students must complete a total of 96UOC of courses.

Exemptions or Advanced Standing
Exemptions and advanced standing rules for the stream follow the program rules. A student may apply for exemptions. Students with a four year honours degree (for example in Civil Engineering) can obtain a maximum of 48 UOC of exemptions. Full details are noted on program 8338 handbook page.
