Stream Outline

If you would prefer to broaden your understanding of different business areas, you can do this by choosing four courses offered in the MCom, or choose 2 MCom courses and 2 courses from other faculties at UNSW to complement your learning outcomes to suit your career aspirations.

Stream Structure

Master of Commerce (Extension) students must complete:

2 MCom core courses
3 Gateway courses - made up of designated specialist core course/s depending on the specialisation chosen
6 Specialisation courses
4 additional courses
1 Capstone course

Choose 4 courses from any approved MCom course selections:

Four courses from any approved MCom or MCom (Extension) specialisations.
(Pre-requisites may apply when reviewing course options)
Two courses may be selected from other faculties of UNSW (subject to approval of MCom Director).
