Stream Outline

This professional development program is designed for qualified teachers and other educational professionals who wish to select courses from the Master of Education to suit your individual needs and interests, designing your own unique specialisation or updating your knowledge and skills in education more generally.

This stream is available to international students and can be completed in one semester.

Graduate Attributes

At the end of the stream, students should have acquired all of the following graduate attributes:
  1. Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the field of education as it relates to their specialist area of study, and the ability to synthesize and apply disciplinary principles and practices to new or complex environments.
  2. Demonstrate advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  3. Communicate effectively to a range of audiences, and be capable of independent and collaborative enquiry and team-based leadership.
  4. Demonstrate an understanding of international perspectives relevant to the educational field

Stream Structure

Any four courses (24 UOC) from the Master of Education offered by the School of Education.
