Stream Outline
If you are interested in developing a core set of Business Law skills, this MCom (Extension) sub-specialisation offers a range of courses that focus on how commercial laws apply within a business context.
Stream Structure
Master of Commerce (Extension) students must complete:
- 2 MCom core courses
- 3 Gateway courses - made up of designated specialist core course/s depending on the specialisation chosen
- 6 Specialisation courses
- 4 Sub-specialisation courses
- 1 Capstone course
Gateway course - which must be completed as part of the general gateway course requirements:

- TABL5561 Legal Aspects of Finance (6 UOC)
- TABL5562 Business Law in a Global Econ. (6 UOC)
- TABL5571 Franchising (6 UOC)
