Stream Outline

Who should do this stream?

The MPH in International Health is designed for students who wish to specialise in International Health, which is reflected in their Testamur.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) in International Health provides students from developing countries with skills and knowledge to address key health issues in their home countries, as well as enabling Australian students to contribute effectively to international health development.

Students must complete 48 units of credit as follows:

Stream Structure

A. MPH core courses (18 units of credit)

PLUS

B. The following stream-defining course (6 units of credit)
PLUS

C. at least three courses (18 uoc) from recommended international health-related electives, including:
PLUS

D. One more elective (6 Units of Credit), a project in an international health-related topic or internship:
The revised stream structure and list of electives will be available to students currently enrolled in the International Health Stream. Students who enrolled prior to Semester 1, 2014, will also be allowed to complete courses previously listed as International Health electives.
