Professional Development Courses – 24 UOC (4 courses):
Professional development, if required, will include:
- 18 UOC (3 courses) as determined by the Program Authority.

- ZEIT8013 Space Applications 1 (6 UOC)
- ZEIT8230 Requirements Eng (6 UOC)
- AERO4410 Adv Aero Struct and Vibratn (Advanced Aerospace Structures and Vibrations UOC)
- ELEC9722 Digital Image Processing (6 UOC)
- GEOS9012 Remote Sensing Applications (6 UOC)
- GMAT9200 GPS Positioning (6 UOC)
- GMAT9201 GPS Receivers (6 UOC)
- TELE4652 Mobile & Satellite Comm System (Mobile and Satellite Communications Systems UOC)

It is recommended students undertake the 24 UOC project. The 24 UOC project consists of two 12 UOC project courses, each containing a significant management component.
Engineering and Technical Management Courses – 12–24 UOC
Students are required to take 12-24 UOC Engineering and Technical Management. A listing of Engineering Technical Management courses can be found at GSOEAS8539
Students who successfully complete the 24 UOC project may be granted exemption of 12 UOC Engineering and Technical Management.
