The specialisation in Transportation Engineering and Planning provides students with advanced study options in transport planning and engineering including various aspects of traffic flow theory, transport modelling, traffic management and control, transport demand modelling, and advanced algorithms used in optimization and planning of transportation systems. Technical professionals will have the opportunity to learn the core fundamentals of current practice in this field and to develop skills in analysis and design of transport systems with an understanding of traffic modelling and simulation, and engage with state-of-the-art technologies. Ideally suited for both practising transportation engineers and recent graduates planning a career in transport engineering

A selection of professional development courses appropriate to the student's specialisation will be determined by the specialisation authority. Courses outside this list can be given approval by application to the specialisation authority.

Specialisation Courses - 24-36 UOC (4-6 courses):

Students at least take 24 UOC of the following courses.
