Plan Outline

The specialisation in Photovoltaics and Solar Energy is designed to build on the previous education of engineers from other engineering disciplines who are currently being attracted to the booming solar photovoltaic energy industry. Students undertake courses from the areas of photovoltaic devices and photovoltaic systems and applications.

Plan Structure

Professional Development Courses:

Students can choose any SOLA9xxx courses. Information on course offerings is available at: courses.

With the permission of program authority, students can choose courses offered by other schools. A course substitution form must be lodged with the Program Office prior to taking the course(s). The Course Substitution Form is available at:forms.

Specialisation Courses:

Please Note:
SOLA9001 and SOLA9002 are compulsory for all programs.

SOLA9006is compulsory for Graduate Diploma and Master programs.
