The program is divided into two components. These are:

ATSI5004 Indigenous Research Methods (6 UOC)
ATSI5005 Aboriginal Social Policy Dvpmt (6 UOC)
ATSI5007 Working with Aboriginal People (6 UOC)

Electives

ATSI5001 Colonisation and Identity (6 UOC)
ATSI5002 Aboriginality and Gender (6 UOC)
ATSI5006 Indigenous Human Rights (6 UOC)
ATSI5008 Reconciliation Intl Exper (6 UOC)
ATSI5009 Individual Project (6 UOC)

The Master of Indigenous Studies is offered full-time and part-time, with a minimum length of one year fulltime.

For the Master of Indigenous Studies, students are required to complete the Core Courses listed above plus four of the above listed electives to make up 48 units of credit.

Alternatively, students may choose to take 1 elective from;
Master of Social Development
Master of Social Policy

Each course is worth 6 units of credit and is one session in duration. Class contact hours are 2 per week per course.
