Plan Outline

The Graduate Certificate in Arts in Interpreting and Translation (program 7325, plan code MODLES7325) aims to prepare students for professional activities in interpreting and translation. Courses are offered in English and the following languages: French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish.

Plan Structure

Students are required to complete four courses (24 units of credit).

Full-time students are required to take the four core courses listed below in Semester 2:

Admission Requirements

The program is intended for students who have a BA or equivalent with a major in a language and who have native or near-native proficiency. Students who have successfully completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate may apply to upgrade to the Master of Arts or Graduate Diploma in Arts in Interpreting and Translation Studies.
