Plan Outline

Specialisation Description:

The specilisation in Groundwater Resources provides students with advanced study options in groundwater resources including various aspects of surface water hydrology, groundwater hydrology, resources analysis and groundwater management, hydrogeochemistry, 3D groundwater/geological models, 3D data analysis and application of geophyscial techniques.

A selection of professional development courses appropriate to the student's specialisation will be determined by the specilisation authority.

CVEN9610 Surface Water Hydrology (6 UOC)
CVEN9630 Groundwater Hydrology (6 UOC)
CVEN9631 Hydrogeochemistry (6 UOC)
GEOS9632 Groundwater Management (6 UOC)
GEOS9633 Geophysical Techniques (6 UOC)
GEOS9634 Groundwater 3D Modelling (6 UOC)

Project Courses:

CVEN9901 Special Topic in Civ & Env Eng (6 UOC)
CVEN9930 Masters Project (12 UOC)
CVEN9950 Extension Masters Thesis (24 UOC)

Students may take CVEN9901, CVEN9930 or CVEN9950 depending on the Program they are enrolled in, their performance in courses and the approval of the Program Authority.
