Master of Commerce (MCom) students must complete:
• 4 core courses • 6 specialisation courses (made up of 2 specialist core courses and 4 specialisation elective courses) • 2 elective courses - students can choose electives to deepen their specialisations or can choose any other Master of Commerce course where prerequisites are met. Master of Commerce (Extension) (MCom(Ext)) students with only one specialisation must complete: • 4 core courses • 6 specialisation courses (made up of 2 specialist core courses and 4 specialisation elective courses) • 6 elective courses - students can choose electives to deepen their specialisations or can choose any other Master of Commerce course where prerequisites are met. Master of Commerce (Extension) (MCom(Ext)) students with two specialisations must complete: • 4 core courses • 6 specialisation courses from the first specialisation • 6 specialisation courses from the second specialisation • No electives In order to complete the Master of Commerce program with a Business Law specialisation, students must complete 4 core courses
(It is recommended that COMM5001, COMM5002 and COMM5003 are taken in the first semester and COMM5004 in the final semester)

The Chartered Secretaries Australia Ltd (CSA) is the professional association for 10,000 company secretaries and corporate managers in Australia. It also operates as the Australian Division of the International, 70,000 member strong, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators to which most CSA members also belong. CSA also sets the standards for entry into the profession through the Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
