A major study plan in Photomedia within the Graduate Diploma in Art program must include:

Plan Structure

1) Two prescribed core course:

SOMA9713 Photomedia 1 (6 UOC)
SOMA9714 Photomedia 2 (6 UOC)

2) Plus two of the following postgraduate studio courses:

SOMA9730 Intro to Analogue Photography (6 UOC)
SOMA9731 Intro to Digital Imaging (6 UOC)
SOMA9736 Advanced Analogue Photography (6 UOC)
SOMA9737 Vector Graphics in Visual Arts (6 UOC)
SOMA9741 Writing for Digital Media (6 UOC)
SOMA9745 Intro to Photographic Lighting (6 UOC)
SOMA9746 Advanced Photographic Lighting (6 UOC)
SOMA9747 Cinematography Workshop (6 UOC)

3) Plus one core theory course, normally:

SAHT9141 Current Issues in Art (6 UOC)

4) Plus three electives, including at least one studio course.
