Plan Outline

The specilisation in Groundwater Resources provides students with advanced study options in groundwater resources including various aspects of surface water hydrology, groundwater hydrology, resources analysis and groundwater management, hydrogeochemistry, 3D groundwater/geological models, 3D data analysis and application of geophyscial techniques.

Plan Structure

Professional Development Courses:

A selection of professional development courses appropriate to the student's specialisation will be determined by the specilisation authority.

Specialisation Courses:
  • GEOS9632 Groundwater Management
  • GEOS9633 Groundwater 3D geological computer models and 3D spatial data analysis
  • GEOS9634 Geophysical techniques in groundwater, engineering and agriculture

Project Courses:
  • CVEN9940 Extension Project
Students may take CVEN9901, CVEN9930 or CVEN9940 depending on the Program they are enrolled in, their performance in courses and the approval of the Program Authority.
