Plan Outline

The program can be completed in one or two years. It is strongly recommended that students allow themselves more than one year. Each course is one session (14 weeks) in length, and the on-campus mode involves class contact time of one two-hour meeting per week per course.

Plan Structure

Students must complete the following sequence of courses totalling 48 units of credit:

PHIL5400 Moral Theory and Reasoning (8 UOC)
PHIL5401 The Professions and Society (8 UOC)
PHIL5402 Ethical Issues in Business (8 UOC)
PHIL5403 Ethics in Organisations (8 UOC)

plus any one of the following:

PHIL5404 Supervised Readings (8 UOC)
SLSP5001 Policy Analysis (8 UOC)
SLSP5002 Info. & Research for Policy (8 UOC)

or any of the electives approved for the Master of Policy Studies.

and
either one of the following:

PHIL5405 Applied Ethics Project (8 UOC)
PHIL5406 Research Project (8 UOC)
