This specialisation is no longer offered to commencing students.

The Risk Management and Insurance specialisation is designed to provide students with an introduction to the worlds of risk management and insurance and quickly move to a more sophisticated investigation of issues and techniques currently employed in the marketplace to manage risk and finance the associated losses.

Plan Structure

In order to qualify for the Risk Management and Insurance specialisation, in addition to core courses students must complete the following courses:

For students who have prior knowledge of a course equivalent to FINS5512, FINS5513 or ACCT5919, a replacement course should be chosen from the above list for each such equivalence.
