Description

This course offers students a mature foundation on how economists see and think about the world. It also shows how conceptual frameworks and tools of analysis in economics can be used to generate economic, political and social issues, events and policies.

The aims of this course are to:
1. Develop and/or refresh a mature understanding of core economic concepts and their application in economic analysis.
2. Develop the capacity to interpret real-world events through the tools and insights of economics.
3. Recognise the value and relevance of economics for business and management.
4. Strengthen the capacity to formulate appropriate questions and pursue relevant, complex argument in seeking solutions and answers.
