Overview of reservoir characterisation and modelling problems. Reservoir mapping. 3D modelling. Univariate, bivariate and multivariate statistics for geological data analysis. Pattern recognition techniques. Petrophysical predictions from well logs. Introduction to petroleum geostatitsics. Variograms. Kriging. Uncertainty quantification. Stochastic reservoir modelling.
