Description

In this course you will learn how to analyse texts for the purpose of translation. Based on Systemic Functional Linguistics, a model that regards language as a meaning-making resource, the course introduces you to a set of tools that will enable you to understand linguistic choices made in a text within its context so that you can make informed decisions when translating.
