This course will provide students with data management knowledge in both operational and analytical database systems and infrastructure aspects, including theoretical foundations as well as meaningful handson experience. Examples include: standard relational database issues; analytical database topics; requirements imposed by the move to big data; business analytics infrastructure and tools used with big data.
