Description

The aim of this course is to introduce participants to the business context within which IT is utilised by considering the nature of work in business and business systems. This is achieved by investigating the major uses of IT in the business contexts of working with knowledge, making decisions, planning, operational or management support systems, e-commerce and e-business and Integrating IT and ERP systems. The course also considers security and information resources as well as trends in information systems and technology.

Prerequisite: This course is offered by the MBT Program. All students enrolling in MBT courses must meet the work experience requirements.
