Description
Learning Outcomes
• a basic knowledge of genetics and molecular biology;
• an advanced knowledge of the various reproductive hormones, their type, production, storage, transport and mechanism of action;
• a knowledge of the mechanism of sexual determination, differentiation and the developmental stages to achieve reproductive competence;
• a detailed understanding of related hormonal systems, including the endocrine pancreas, and their effect on reproduction;
• a sound understanding of spermatogenesis.
