Description

This course is designed for people who love food; it provides an opportunity to learn about industry contexts, explore the diverse genres of food communication, and develop food media and promotional strategies. Course content includes an overview of the philosophy and role of food in historical and contemporary contexts; an examination of issues in food media communication and promotion; an exploration of the role of research and development; navigation of food policy, regulation, advocacy and activism; and a critique of food writing.
