Description

Creativity is an important facet of giftedness. Creativity is, however, difficult to define and measure. In this course, students will analyse and evaluate differing views of creativity as well as consider creativity’s key role within the context of gifted education. The course focuses on three key areas: (1) Developing an understanding of creativity; (2) Assessing attempts to facilitate creativity; (3) The relationship between creativity, giftedness and talent; and (4) developing and supporting creativity in gifted and talented students.
