Description

This course provides an overview of adolescent development and learning. By considering motivation, cognition, emotional factors, social, cultural and gender perspectives students will develop a theoretical understanding of the different perspectives of adolescent learning and of the adolescent learner. This theoretical understanding will be linked to aspects of effective pedagogical practice in the secondary classroom.
