Description

This course covers the theoretical and practical flying of multi-engine aeroplanes in commercial operations in all weather, and during the day and night. The theory component covers the syllabus of aeronautical knowledge specified by CASA for the Instrument Rating Examination. The subjects include: PANS OPS, Airways Procedures, Radio Navigation Aids, and Satellite Navigation. The practical training is an integrated program of simulator and flight, including introduction to and endorsement on multi-engine aeroplanes. Flights are conducted during the day and at night in all weather conditions (except extreme) culminating in the flight test for the issue of a Command Multi Engine Instrument Rating.
