Description This course introduces students to conducting research in the Information Systems (IS) discipline. It provides an introduction to framing research problems / objectives, developing a research design, and applying qualitative, quantitative and design science methods to IS research. The course helps develop the research skills necessary for conducting research projects, such as writing a literature review, articulating research questions, justifying a research design, collecting and analysing data, and presenting research results. These skills are generally useful for academic and business researchers, business consultants, IS designers and developers, IS project managers, etc.
