Workplace injury involves organisations in insurable costs (workers' compensation premiums) and uninsurable costs (productivity losses, low morale, reputation damage, equipment losses and downtime). This course concentrates on the prevention of workplace injury and associated costs and losses through the application of effective management systems. Industry case studies are used, together with analysis and application of management techniques. Prerequisite: This course is offered by the MBT Program. All students enrolling in MBT courses must have at least four years relevant professional experience. |
