This course will also: link and make explicit comprehension and explanatory skills used and tested in other units, such as critical appraisal of published literature, translating research into policy; writing reports and papers for publication, collecting behavioural, opinion and evaluation data from individuals and intervening in public debate on policy issues, and uniquely add new skills that many MPH candidates will find useful in their work including dealing with the media and writing about health for the public.
