Description

The focus of this course is on understanding the relationships between culture and student outcomes and investigating the role of a leader in developing a performance based culture in the educational context. Key concepts in performance management are defined. Various performance management and development systems used nationally and globally in all organisations will be investigated. compared and evaluated. The challenges involved in the development of performance management systems will be considered. Comparisons of individual and team performance management systems will be made.
Students will develop their own informed theoretical model for an effective performance management and development system.
