Description

This course explores managerial decisions and actions intended to generate sustainable competitive advantage, and the contribution of accounting and finance professionals to these activities. In particular, this course examines the changing role of the office of the CFO, including its contribution to value creation and use of accounting control systems to both develop and implement strategic aims. These topics are explored through a critical examination of relevant research and professional literature, documented case studies, and contemporary business practice.
