Description

The course provides an introduction to the principles of primary health care (PHC). A number of these are explored in detail: Equity and access, community participation, comprehensive care, prevention and health promotion, continuity of care, coordination and integration of care. A number of services are specifically analysed: General practice/family medicine, community health services, rural health services, indigenous health services.
