Description

Provides students with advice and guidance on producing large scale creative projects. Focuses on generative writing strategies, planning and structuring manuscripts, and editing draft material. Through a combination of group workshops and individual mentoring, students will develop a substantial piece of written work to a professional standard. Student projects will also be considered in relation to the current literary marketplace and the publishing industry. This course also offers students the option of editing rubric, the UNSW on-line journal of Creative Writing, as well as providing an overview of the editing and publishing process and the opportunity to refine and develop their editing skills.
