Teaching Methods for High Incidence Disabilities - EDST5107 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description The focus of this course is on students with high-incidence disabilities. Cognitive, perceptual, language, academic learning, and social-emotional characteristics of these populations will be presented. Issues in assessment, curriculum and instruction, and placement will also be discussed. This course will provide instruction on applying the goals, intervention strategies, and procedures related to psychodynamic, behavioural, biophysical, and ecological approaches to individuals with disabilities.
