Description This course commences with 4 lectures on experimental methods, instrumentation, optical measurement and data analysis methods in biomechanics. The student then undertakes a series of structured experiments in the areas of quantitative gait and human movement analysis, electromyography and impact biomechanics. The experiments are conducted in the biomechanics and gait laboratory at UNSW. Laboratory sessions are complemented by additional lectures.
