Research Methods - SESC9010 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description This course covers issues in research methodology including research problem formulation, null and alternative hypotheses, qualitative and quantitative research designs, data analysis, presenting research data and applying research to practice. Students will be expected to be able to recognise and avoid common methodological problems in research and critically review the literature. The course does not provide a detailed coverage of statistical theory but an understanding of statistics is required.
