Description

This course introduces students to quantitative methods in public health research. Biostatistics will include the interpretation of descriptive and inferential statistics using statistical software outputs, and students will be introduced to epidemiological principles through case studies. Case studies will be examined for study design, associated weaknesses and strengths and statistical techniques.
