Description Aims to assist students in gaining practical experience in two-directional translation and consecutive interpreting at professional levels of different text types and genres in a variety of fields and settings. Students apply skills and techniques that they will be acquiring in Interpreting and Translation Techniques 1 in order to become proficient in translation and consecutive interpreting. Includes increased active reading/listening and comprehension, conversion, delivery, short-term memory, effective use of note-taking during interpreting, techniques of overcoming translation and interpreting challenges.
