Description

Introduction to fundamental concepts in experimental design, and familiarisation with common designs that are used in current research. Topics include: introduction to experiments; randomisation; sample size determination; fixed effects models; incomplete and balanced incomplete block designs; confounding and fractional replication; response surface methodology; random effects.
