Description This course introduces methods used to analyse risk in different disciplines. Techniques covered include Fault Tree analysis and quantification, Trend analysis, Monte Carlo and other computer modelling techniques, use of risk analysis software. The methods are applied to examples which include decision-making in financial, environmental and safety management. In addition students undertake a case study selecting areas of risk of their choice.
