Description The aim of this course is to consider ethics and law in public health and in the management of health care institutions. Ethics is considered with a focus on public health and health care management rather than ethics as an individual issue (as it is usually conceptualised). Law is approached as an important element in defining public health and as an instrument to achieve goals in public health and health care management. The course includes an introduction to ethics and law and provides an opportunity to apply these understandings to particular issues in public health and health care management according to students interests.
