Description

Workplace injury involves organisations in insurable costs (workers compensation premiums) and uninsurable costs (productivity losses, low morale, reputation damage, equipment losses and downtime). Under current legislation, line managers and supervisors can be held personally liable for workplace injury. This course therefore concentrates on the prevention of workplace injury and associated costs and losses through the application of effective management systems.

Prerequisite: This course is offered by the MBT Program. All students enrolling in MBT courses are required to have at least four years relevant professional experience.
