Description

This course provides an overview of the range of environmental issues facing our globe and our communities, and the responsibilities of organisations to address those issues. By understanding the big picture, managers can make sound economic decisions compatible with a commitment to a sustainable environment. Specific issues and control strategies are discussed in order to provide insights into environmental control techniques and methods for handling environmental problems, ranging from legal aspects to quantitative risk assessment.

Prerequisite: This course is offered by the MBT Program. All students enrolling in MBT courses are required to have at least four years relevant professional experience.
