Description Deals with the contexts, roles and functions of management in educational institutions: team work, decision-making, communication, planning and policy-making, human resource management, staff motivation and satisfaction, exercising power/authority/influence, structuring and organising, problem solving, quality assurance and total quality management, managing learning and teaching, and managing physical resources. Study of research into these issues in educational settings.
Note: This course may be undertaken as part of the Master of Educational Administration program. Learning Outcomes By the completion of this course students should have developed sophisticated understandings of administrative and organisational behaviour and be able to apply these understandings to management contexts in education and training.
