Description Offers a multidimensional view of how Japanese works creating meaning through grammar in the context of communication. Provides students with an opportunity to explore their own Japanese language-based experiences through semi-autonomous learning. Students will learn to 'read' and 'write' creatively in order to 'think' and then 'speak' and write in Japanese. Students are expected to give verbal presentations and write a short essay in Japanese (4,000 - 5,000 Japanese characters).
Assumed knowledge: Third-year level proficiency in Japanese. |
